Bob Edmonds-Announcer

Bob truly has a lifetime of experience in the sport of rodeo. Growing up in a stock contracting family, Bob learned early on the value of good rodeo production. He has been involved in nearly every aspect of rodeo, but for over 20 years announcing has been his way to share his passion of rodeo. With an authentic love and knowledge of rodeo portrayed with a smooth and enthusiastic delivery, Bob is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after announcers in ProRodeo as evidenced by being selected as the 2018 WPRA Announcer of the Year. His impressive rodeo resume includes a wide spectrum of great events across the country including being selected 13 times to announce the Ram Mountain States PRCA Circuit Finals Rodeo and 3 times to call the action at the National Circuit Finals Steer Roping. Bob is all about respecting the history and traditions of rodeo announcers that he learned from, yet his delivery adds just enough modern flair to keep the fans informed and entertained in today’s rodeo atmosphere.

Not only does Bob’s professionalism inside the arena standout, but his work outside does as well. Bob is a Colorado Licensed Land Surveyor and owns a successful Land Surveying firm in Northern Colorado. However, his first passion is his family. Bob and his wife, Brandy, have twin daughters Koree and Kaycee, and travel as a family to many events. The Edmonds live near Kersey, CO and in addition to rodeo, they also manage a horse sale business. When not on the road, the family enjoys team roping, along with many other outdoor activities.
