44th Annual Silver Spur Rodeo Worthen Memorial Old Time Fiddle Contest

This event is the official kick-off event for the Yuma Jaycees’ Silver Spur rodeo each year. This event takes place in January every year and brings some of the best entertainment around for old time fiddle music. The contest is open to all ages!! We have had several children come in to compete and have gone on to the Grand Champion rounds! It is exciting to see the children carrying on this tradition. Contest begins at 10:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Sunday’s competitions may end earlier than posted time of 3:00 p.m., this is only an estimated completion time.

The Silver Spur Rodeo Committee is there serving up food and beverages each day. Breakfast and lunch are served on Saturday and Sunday at reasonable prices, with a full bar available each day of the contest.
